Prescriptions Information

Contraceptive Request

Please click on the link below to fill out and submit our online form (please be aware it can take 2-3 working days for this request to be processed).

Repeat Prescriptions

If you are on long-term medication, this will be entered onto the computer and you will receive a computer slip with a list of the relevant drugs. The slip can be handed into the surgery or posted enclosing a stamped addressed envelope. Please note, two clear working days’ notice is required for a repeat prescription. It is your own responsibility to ensure you have adequate stocks of medications. Receptionists are not authorised to vary this procedure.

You can also email them to us using the following link:

Alternatively you can order online via the link at the top of this page. New users are required to complete a simple registration.

Repeat prescriptions cannot be taken over the telephone in case of error.

It would be helpful if patients ordered all their medication at the same time.

If you are a dispensing patient, i.e. you collect your medication from the surgery dispensary, then please hand in your repeat prescription slip to the dispensary and not the reception. If you are unsure as to whether you can get your medication from the dispensary, please ask either at reception or the dispensary and we will be happy to help.

We also have a In-Practice Pharmacy where no matter what your address or which GP surgery you are registered with, you can now collect your medication.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
