AccuRx

AccuRx

AccuRx are a technology company, who build software for GPs, hospitals and other healthcare providers to help us communicate better with our patients. Their software connects people across the system to make NHS professionals happier and patients healthier.

Accurx is primarily used by our surgery as a SMS messaging system allowing us to deal with patient requests quickly and efficiently. It also allows us to alert patients to services and issues relevant to them and send links for services they require.

This and other related services are only available to patients that have given consent to be contacted by the surgery via SMS. If you would like to consent to this and receive information by text message on your phone regarding appointments and health care please click on the button below to fill out our quick simple form.

Communication Consent Form

Declaration

I consent to the practice contacting me by text message and/or email for the purposes of health promotion, practice news and for appointment reminders.
I acknowledge that appointment reminders by text are an additional service and that they may not be sent on all occasions but that the responsibility for attending appointments or cancelling them still rests with me. I can cancel the text message facility at any time. Text messages are generated using a secure facility but I understand that they are transmitted over a public network onto a personal telephone and as such may not be secure, however the practice will not transmit any information which would enable an individual patient to be identified.
